Good evening, Creatures! This is a short update, but a cool one. We'd like to remind you to tune in here from noon to 2 PM CST on Saturday (9/6/25) for a live stream with me (John), Eddie, and numerous people who have helped bring Dungeon Dwelling Creatures to life. We'll discuss some of our favorite moments while designing the game and playtests as we count down to the end of the BackerKit campaign.

Lastly, we wanted to share a special message from Weird Uncle Brendan LaSalle regarding his stretch goal, the Swarm Tribe race-class! Hey, Creatures! This is a longer update, packed with some great and important information.

TL:DR - Vote on the Art stretch goal by Keelan (See the poll), we'll be hosting a live stream during the last two hours of the campaign from noon to 2 pm CST on 9/6, support the Weird Frontiers Reference Guide in its last 24 hours, and please log into Facebook and share the social media stretch goal so we can get you more free stuff! 

We're working our way to another stretch goal ($25k) - the DDC original adventure Through Time. Through Time thrusts you into the role of the last surviving monsters of a once-proud tribe, slaughtered by greedy adventurers. But fate has revealed a dangerous secret—an artifact that may let you rip open the veil of time itself! Will you rewrite history, save your kin, and claim vengeance… or unleash something far worse? A perilous 2nd-level Dungeon Dwelling Creatures adventure by John Watson.

Our friends over at Stiff Whiskers Press are in the final 24 hours of their BackerKit for the Weird Frontiers (The DCC-compatible weird west system) Reference Guide. Eddie and I have had the pleasure of writing our own Weird Frontiers-compatible adventures and are both big fans of playing it. The project is already fully funded, and this reference guide will be a great tool to help you run and play in Weird Frontiers games.
