DCC-Compatible RPG where YOU play the Monsters! Welcome to Dungeon Dwelling Creatures

Hey, creatures! We are very overdue for an update. We are still working on things, and Stefan (our editor) is keeping Eddie and me focused on the right things to ensure DDC is the best book it can be! 

While we have been busy ordering art and putting the final touches on a few things, the dummy books came in! I have included pictures below, and they look and feel fantastic. The white one is the standard version with the art, and the green one is the leatherette limited edition version. 

The first con of the year that we'll have a presence at is Owl Con! If you're in the Houston, TX area this coming weekend, please come by and look us up! We'll be running some Creatures games and partnering with the Long Con Press at their booth. We'll have free swag available and the dummy books to look at if you'd like to swing by and put your hands on them. 

Greetings, Creatures! Eddie and I are still hard at work. The stretch goal authors have mostly gotten in everything they owe us. And, as promised, we're using the additional funds raised to get more art in the core book! Foes will be included in the book for your monsters to face. One of the sample foes we'll have is angels. Here is one of the art orders, fresh off the press from Dax Hamon!


We received in samples of the limited edition color options from our printer. The look and feel is great, but Eddie and I have run into a disagreement on which option to choose. He has his favorite and I have mine. We figured the best way to settle this was to turn it over to you, our backers! Please vote on the poll to determine if you like the lighter green or the darker green cover.

Greetings, Creatures! One of the Dungeon Dwelling Creatures contributing authors, Matt De Micco, just launched a new BackerKit that is an XCC-compatible adventure called XCrawl Rodeo! We're live now, talking about it. Check us out, here and give it a back!

Second, the DDC-branded d6 have arrived! They look and feel (yes, you read that right) fantastic. Baron of Dice did a bang-up job on them. Once we get everything, we will send them out with your respective pledge levels. Pics follow. 

Greetings, Creatures! We're still working on finalizing the details of the core book and awaiting some items from our stretch goal contributors. Having said that, I know it's been a bit since I posted an update, so here's some more information on the DDC-branded dice. 

We modified the image slightly because it wouldn't have looked as good if we had printed it as is. Here is an idea of what the logo will look like now, though the final product may differ a bit. the left image is the mock up that Baron of Dice did and the right image is the updated logo Sgt. Dave put together. 

We're heading to the Long Con! If you're planning to attend, please say hi to Eddie and me both. We'll give you some swag! Additionally, many of the contributing authors will be there too. If you have not attended it is, in my opinion, the best con in the southern United States. Plenty of Dungeon Dwelling Creatures will be run at the con. If you cannot find a table, ask the Judge, and I'm sure they might be able to make extra room.

Hey, Creatures! I know it's been a bit since we've had an update. We're continuing to work on everything so we can get it to you as quickly as possible. We're working with our artists on all the stretch goal art and even some bonus art. Here is a sample of one of the amazing contributions that the talented Joey Docil created for the book!



I (John) will be taking a short break from writing, editing, and everything else while Eddie keeps things moving. I'm doing this so I can head out to Gamehole Con! On Saturday (10/18), I will be running games (as Judge Knight) for Crawl for The Cure.
